For about a decade now, there is a creature that walks around our house in Western New York.
At first we thought it might be a coyote, or a Coy Dog. But the tracks are much to small and much to straight. The walk ratio is straight, not one leg to another. When they think it is a coyote, we show them that the hole opening is about half dollar size. So this discounts most Coyote / Coy dog like animals.
Lets take a look. A standard Coyote track next to the one legged track just so we can get an idea of its size and its style.
(unfortunately we do not know the size of the coyote tracks but from what we read they are usually around 3-3.5″ wide/high.)
The creatures paw print has four claws across, while the Coyote has a spread formation. Though we do not know the size of the coyote prints I can bet they above 3 inches. These tracks for the creature are very small. This will remove the idea that it is a coyote pup, because its the same every time for over a decade.
Here is three more images for you to look at.
What do you think it is? Is it a Coyote that has weird paws and an unusual way of walking? Please vote and discuss!
